no  ;) I think, it is very easy to recognize, what is render and what ingame picture  :D

but, it seems to be possible it can look similar. the car is not uv maped with texture, except wheels, but when I add some environment map, it can look so:

pretty cool and good idea, so far looking good too

i had some ideas of open wheeled cars too, but then i had the problem of the parts between the wheel and the car body.

Currently using 7.22

This what I how I thought it could be done. Add bones at both ends of the connection piece. Then use a script to set one bone at the spot of the wheel and the other bone somewhere on the car. On this way the wheels and the car will always be connected. This doesn't collide, but I don't think it's a problem.

the car is low poly, the driver will be too  ;)
if there will be 6 cars, it need good game performance.

I think even, the helmet is too much poly  ;D

the pilot will have some face, now is all untextured yet, but I think, he will be similar to Stig little bit really, coz it seems, yo will able to see eyes - through the glasses only  :D

somehow, like the one one attached picture. but maybe you know, who is it...
