is this game going to have online?
good idea! I never tried make such thing with 3d rad. that would be possible try it with some help or demo. I must say I have no experience with on-line gaming even (yes, I mean, I've never played some game on-line).

That roll cage looks a bit short
It would make me feel bad if that car flipped upside down
me too  :)
I will change it yet, to keep the driver safe.
funny is, some pictures of real cars shows, that keeping the driver life was not not much important... see the attached pictures.
maybe, if such racing car flipped upside down, rolls, with more then 300 km/h, is it unnecessary  :-\

That's okay. It's not shame for old people!  ;)

That's very nice. You think the cars might flip over in the game?

 ;)
if you all rememeber, the original idea was to take any other functional 3d rad racing game / project and add my 3d objects. strange, nobody was interested  ;)
second idea was to take default SUV 3D rad demo, change the path for road / terrain / cars ...

maybe is time to ask again: if here is somebody, who can take and make some race game in 3d rad serious, better, it would be good make the open wheel race game cooperative way. this way can speed up the work to some demo version.

I have relativ good imagination, how it should look like (terrrain, cars, cameras, car damage), but if it should be just race to "be first" or if it should be made for on-line play, I dont know.

Borek at this point you reached probably not higher but high enough for one person game :) you now need a few persons team for eg Idea creator(that could possibly be me cuz my imagination is huge)
and scripter.modeler and NAme in one word Team so taht you could achieve realy high meters and ever power the capability of rad by working forward on this game With team if you dont like team there are part time people that can help you sometimes becouse this project is worth so think about that (the idea was mine so i could be idea creator :D)

this is the same problem he had with the rocket plane game... he went as far as he could with it, and when it came to the point of actually doing the mundane routine stuff that every program needs to be completed, he was more interested in flying around his model...

he's gotta learn to work with a team... that is,  unless he has enough time and ambition to learn the ins and outs of getting a full game project game ready and do it all himself (which, really isn't that hard a thing to do)...

unless this happens, i don't see any of his stuff ever becoming more than just a few demos...  unfortunate, cause both projects look really good...

hmm, all can read about your cooperation, from beginning to end, in the Komet project thread, Mike. closed case for me.

to the team thing: maybe someone will wonder, but releasing some of my work with mark FINAL, to public, is, with my small experience, the question of team cooperation. example can be the Marcos LM 600 GTR2 car add-on, all can try search it with google. part of my team members did then this: http://www.bsimracing.com/wsgt-screenshots
before car age it was creating a non-commercial "company", for support and creating airplane sim add-ons (home of team: www.flightsim.cz). so, please, dont try to teach me, how to learn to work with a team.

to the open wheel car race game (and other my projects): I do it for fun. It is one part of my hobby time. I do it not for pay. so I can do it for months, years, centuries, with breaks... but if somebody here wanted see it finalized, or at least some demo, he must just wait, if I will do it alone ;)

during my game add-on / mods activity I saw billions of screams under water, huge projects died, fine, talented people gone mad... here is it similar thing. many of projects will be never released. this can be the same thing with my projects :)

Lol, I think sometimes the young 'uns forget us oldies have other stuff to do too.  Silly things like work and family get in the way of what we would like to be doing.  ;)
