Okay. All I need is the model of the thing you want between the car body and the wheel and car body mesh and wheel mesh.

I will create something. some spur.

question 1: you need it as rigidbody objects, right?

question 2: can you be able make it working like the real car is? I mean car body object + joint + spur object + joint + wheel object? the spur should moving, coz it it suspension also... see the movie at 0:55 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkv1lPorjIY&feature=related)

Answer 1: No, the connection between the wheels and the body don't need to collide.
Answer 2: Why do you need joints?

shame.

I did next tests. so, meshmaped imposters are exactly, where I wanted, in few seconds. I like trees, I like simple trees, but I dont like the treemesh shader script. it is soo ugly. if there were way to use tree library objects or find out, where at the scirpt is the right alpha channel mystery...

not at this stage yet. no AI cars, track side objects. no script logic for damage...
and if, there is a simple way modify the meshmap for tree imposters, just to copy the road line, for xample, not bigger surface.

Do those cars have heavy suspension?

I believe that's the right word.

I am not sure, I dont udnerstand, what you mean wit the question actually, If the answer will be Yes or Not... but if the question have something to do with 3D rad physics model, this car should just have separate objects attached to the car body with Joints, to show something like a suspension activity ingame.

maybe more can tell you pictures.

but I think, it is not easy to make it working. impossible for me, at least :-)

we can let the car without suspension effect be, it is F1 racing car, not a crosstrack buggy :-)

finally I have time to map something with texture. the wheels, at least. it is starting look little bit better, I think.
