Aaahhh, time. I understand completely mate.

It would be such a shame to not see this develop into - at least - a small game that people could download, play, and have a reason to come back and keep playing.

It's come a long way since August - whole games take time.

Keep up the good work man.

P.S - Reversible tracks and your 3 skin mesh's (1 summer, 2 winter) could give you 6 courses. Something to think about.

lot of "fascinating" projects threads mainly.

still I think your track looks a bit crappy, better if you refine your 'fascinating' technique... :D

I remember perfectly your response... it meant to me something like 'the track is crappy because is main characteristic of the project'... I understood perfectly the first time ::)

here is sample of "hires" 3drad landscape texture exported with road vector based object from Inkscape to 8192x8192. but it take more time when loading. actual projet use 2048x2048 texture or 4096x4096 dds dxt1 file.

since you can solve it with some (very) smaller textures, I would swear you definitely don't have idea about how to make a decent track...

I dont think so. you understood nothing. the ground of F1LR terrain is simple texture track paint made with vector shape, mapped to simple object.
ok, your problem. if you are looking for better 3D track, then sorry, not here. and I dont need to show you, how to do it. you are able do it yourself with modeler, if you are psikotropico  8)

to the F1LR: I dont need to change the F1LR actual project track paint technique. if people need to enjoy any orgasm with sharped road edges, instead of focus on racing, then they must this time turn to another place.
