Excelsior Installer 1.6

Excelsior Installer helps you create installation packages for your Windows applications. It supports the most common installation scenario.

I got my free copy from www.freewarefiles.com search for "Excelsior Installer"

So, here we go again...  ;D
Today I just discovered a free research project that stands for 3d model reconstruction from a series of projection images...  ;D
Here are the links:
Arc3D
http://www.arc3d.be
as well as MeshLab, for editing and filtering, etc. of the acquired models (actually doesn't export to .X, however, you could export to any other format and open it in Blender, for example, and do the export)
http://meshlab.sourceforge.net
I just bought a digital camera that will arrive after a few days, and I'm glad to test the project...  ;D
PS.: Regarding the fact I'm no good modeller at all, and maybe my only talent on it stays for animation...  :D
See ya!!

http://www.academicsuperstore.com/students
Its a great looking website that ells all kinds of programms and some more, student, related stuff but the programms are pretty nice and range in all different prices.

Is the link to my new game's website! Check it out, feedback, etc.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

A new database for indie developers!
Lots of engines, tools, books, etc.
There is even a rating system, so lets give 3D Rad the great rating it deserves.

Free 3D Painting. Way easier than Deep Paint 3D, or BodyPaint.

http://www.blacksmith3d.com/

The paint portion of the studio install is free to use with some features disabled (like symetrical painting).
But it is so easy to use with help text for everything your mouse hovers over, you'll be painting with colors and textures in no time!

Indoor level editor, or brush editor. I will be looking into this an easy way for users to make indoor levels using a classic level editor and import it into 3D Rad. Look for a tutorial on this in the future.

A free level editor called Quark is available here: http://quark.planetquake.gamespy.com/help/mapeditor/index.phpl

From what I can tell, it can export a .MAP file. The .MAP file is really a .ASCII file renamed. You could use Milkshape to convert the .ASCII file into a direct X format: http://chumbalum.swissquake.ch (Milkshape is a great 3D program for $35USD.)

For easier script editing, I like to use ScIte...a text editor with color-coding and the ability to collapse and expand your loops, functions, etc. I just leave it open in the background, and copy/paste into the 3Drad editor as needed.

For character animation.

A 3d Skeletal Animation Tool .

PaceMaker now has a Physics based IK tool and  real-time recording of the physics simulation to help create realistic mo-cap quality animation with little effort.

Animation sharing between models of different size and proportion now possible with PaceMaker's Adaptive Scaling and Rotation algorithm.

Didn't see this one mentioned :

T.ED Terrain editor.
http://www.d-grafix.com/?page=ted

Trial : http://www.d-grafix.com/download.php?file=T.ED_full_setup

Exports to .X with textures and props.
Abit wierd UI but you'll get used to it, probably better software out there for terrains but atleast I can export to RAD directly.

Price :
EU 24.00
US $31.77
