I'd say cypermethrins and dillons projects sound the most difficult and interesting. Maybe a bit too ambitious though. After all you both have a lot to think about to make these completed games. Though onthe upside they will be really interesting games if you pull them off! I'm looking forward to them!

Can a lego based game count?

Lego on it's own is not a strong enough link to the 70's theme... it's been going since about 1950 I think.

Nothing wrong with the game featuring lego or having that style... but it would need a stronger 70's link I'm afraid.

Quick update for my entry, going for the original GTA look with this, top down (you know how we love that) in the main but will be 3d elements if I get time (a lot of ideas to whittle down)

Got the driving engine done, speed sensitive camera zoom and damage modeling on the cars working

Couple of screenshots of the 70s brown capri in various states of damage and zoom

LEGO? No problem, as I understand only the story and graphics need transferred to 70'!

I' like the little contests to force the people get their stuff done.
- What will happen when people sign in but not get finished in time?  Any kind of public humiliation?  ;D

I'm curious if there will be any funky 70' music self made! 8)

Cypermethrin that proper looks like 2d gta. Pulling it off pretty well just hope it controls better then the original. Also i have been thinking about trying to make a 70's style piece of music. Dunno if i'd be able to pull it off though.

Thanks Hypokill, hoping to have a free roam playable without missions up for comments in the next week or so

I suggested putting these people in the stocks and throwing rotten fruit at them (supplied by hypokill  :P ).... I was overruled.  :-\

Now that I see as a challenge, and I can't resist a good challenge.  8)
