Hey guys, I would like some feedback on this map I am making for my 3d Rad FPS Zombie Survival game ;D

The map is not close to being finished. I still have a lot more rooms and details to add, your feedback, ideas, tips would be very much appreciated. I am using Google SketchUp Pro.

How does it look when you test it in 3DRad? any invisable faces? Took me a little trial and error but I figured a way to avoid ever losing textures and faces.
"This town is infested with Killer Cockroaches!"

You have 3 options: Good, Fast, and Cheap. Pick TWO.

Awesome, you should add debris and props outside the house  :)

Yea I am not even close to be finished. Thanks this is my first project in Google SketchUp too :D

Thanks man! First project in SketchUp, yea I have yet to add the rest of the rooms and I'm saving the roof for last. For the windows would you suggest importing an already made model? or making my own? or just some transparent textures?

UPDATED PICS AS OF 6/23/2011 12:30P.M.

My plans are to get everything were I want it and were I like it. Then go back and make it look abandoned in a Zombie Apocalypse :)

^^When I export to 3D Rad :(

Sketchup is notorious for adding extra polygons where it isn't necessary. You may have to run the model thru a polygon reduction program for it to work better.

if you using components or groups in your model, you have to explode them before exporting, or it goes very slow/non responsive

Good Luck  :D

I looked around, and the only actual free one I could find was: http://meshlab.sourceforge.net/ and a tutorial on how to use it: http://www.shapeways.com/tutorials/polygon_reduction_with_meshlab (I never have used this)

Alright Thanks. I just decided to completely remodel the map and try to make it more friendly..Pics up soon, from responses I feel as if I can make this one a whole lot better.
