question (i have to ask just to be sure before using it)

They are user made models originally for counter strike 1.6.

so... in other words... you do not own the property rights to the models and animations...

ok... here's what i'm getting at...

i download your addon... i include it in my game, which i plan to sell for $9.99... joeblowtheM16Maker sees his work in my game after he's bought a license for it and realizes he's just paid me for the privilege of using his own work...

joe gets sam his brother the lawyer to sue the panties off of me for violating his property rights...

i in turn point the finger at you...

gosh i sure hope this animated m16A4 model has a eula that says "this model is free to use in any way you see fit and you need not give any credit to the artist"...

Well that sucks, doesn't it?! But it is really hard to get a good gun model including hands and animations. The easiest way to get them is taking them out of existing games.

Sure, ripping stuff from games for private use may hurt no one, since it gives you endless resources to experiment with. Great tools all over the web for that.
BUT. . .
Folks spend endless hours making these models, and if they are ripped for commercial use, think of it as having a lovely family farm that is made useless by a few thousand squatters using your fields to live on.
You can always ask for permission to use models and ideas, if you cant make your own, or afford to buy some.
