Ok here we go.

I hope this works.Open the .zip file then extract all files to the 3d rad folder,then choose to merge with all the files.DO NOT SAY REPLACE!!!!
You must merge them.
I hope it works,it may not.

My curiosity was piqued, so i took a peek as well, and WOW a 50 megabyte model. So I opened it to look even further, and again WOW. more than 65k of vertices.. That's too ginormous for any pc game... And for an add-on, way, way too big. The idea of an add on is to just plug it in and drive away, maybe with one or more tanks.
The key to a good game mesh, is to use as few polygons as you can get away with, and still have a decent looking model.
So the "OMG", was probably not for lack of a model, but rather something strange that happened when it was loaded. But who knows, since the "OMG" was not very specific.

See? That's whats happening, probably!
So, maybe you should lower the poly count
Or, use the older tank (wait, that wasn't working, either.)
And don't beat yourself up on this.
You are only 11.

@DillonPICL

checking out the tanks project...

What has happened here is the add-on left out the skinmesh for the tank,

To fix it you need to add a skinmesh then link it to the car object, then select the tank from the skinmesh objects.

PS  The model is HUGE as jestermon pointed out.. so you'll probably want to make your own or use a lower poly model..
