Perhaps it was the 3d warehouse

Excellent first impression... Nice overall look to the project...  things seemed scaled properly... the scene looks like it could be real (ok, virtually real :) )

i like the inside view (drivers' view) with the hands on the wheel... nice lil thing to add to the realism... you do realize though, that during gearshifts the hands will have to animate  :)

there are some negatives that pop out immediately though... and i'm just mentioning these as i understand that this is a work in progress...

first thing i notice is that there's no shadow under the car... or the signs... or the trees...  while the lack of shadows from trees shadows might not be a biggeee, i think the car needs to have one...

second... the signs seem to fade into the scene... blurry or faded, they should have the same visual impact as the graphics on the car...

good luck...
this looks like a car/race project i'd drive...

Yeah, i've scaled it almost 10 times to fit it with the car, and exporting the scene into 3drad in sketchup is too long, about 1 hour, i do it in my 1 Ghz Laptop...

Yeah, i like realism.. so i make the steering wheel rotates from inside and from outside, you can see the driver rotating his hand too from outside (not animation exactly :() yeah, i need some script for the gearshift, but i am newbie in 'Angel Scripting'...

Yeah, no shadow at all, i've found some tutorial how to make the illumination or 'fake shadow' in gile(s) but, yeah with bad result again, huh :( i need some help in environment mapping and shadowing.
I've tried to add some vegetation, but hell yeah, stuck in 15 framerate in 1 GHz AMD C-50 CPU...

Yeah, the sign is just a prototype, i'll improve it... ;)

Oh, yeah, i hear there's someone here who has the power of graphic & texturing... i need his help now.. i forget his username... :)

8x "Yeah" combo!!!  ;D

Yes, very impressive indeed, I especially like the GPS thing at the top. This looks like it's going to be good when it comes out, great start! :)

I've done it before, with 2 spotlight and foggy weather, but i didn't continue, coz nightime race environment is much harder to make, since my environment is a bit simple.

hahaha don't worry, i'll upload image updates since my internet was very poor with 40KBps Download and 7MBps Upload, but it was a week before, now wow, my upload speed 40KB/Minute, with 500ms ping, so i decided to upload the complete project (Demo) when my internet is in good condition.

Oh yeah, i've posted some reply before, but it's still awaiting for approval, i don't know why...
