Rush, sorry for the delay:
You knew about scan normals right? I guess you can just do a floor scan and generate a rotation from a single scan hit. Might save you some performance in the future.
Aye, thanks rush, just never got round to changing the current system, it was one of those (if it works, why break it?) scenarios.

So, basically the bike would move through the wall if going backwards?
The bike doesnt move backwards, its not designed that way, but yes, if it did move backwards, it would go through the walls.

if you need any help switching, particularly to Unity, I can basically tell you what to expect.. - basically sum up how things are going to be different from Rad etc..
Thanks Rush, appreciate it. I'am currently working in 3impact, trying to stay away from "object/gui" based engines. I never did like unity's workflow :(
I will be moving onto a new engine in the future, just need to get my C++ up to scratch 1st. So many bad habits i picked up from angelscript, didnt even realize until now lol

Can't imagine how many hours you've put into this... An amazing piece of artwork
You have no idea, 2 years on and off, mostly learning all the aspects as i progressed.
Thanks Sondre, glad you enjoyed it.

Haha.. Yeah me neither. I've always found myself wondering how I could hack into unity's workflow. It's an efficient workflow, but it's missing the fun factor that 3DRad has done so well with. Fun=productivity in my mind... I mean, just looking at how Minecraft allowed so many people foreign to 3D modeling to create these enormous and detailed worlds, it really proves just how UI can be a distraction and gameplay can be turned into productivity.

Thanks Des, appricate it :)

Probably time i showed you guys what i've been up to, still very early alpha (i mean early!), but 39 bikes so far at 60fps. Lots to do!

Thanks to David from http://oddityinteractive.com/ for all his continued input/help. I'd still be in 3Drad if it wasnt for him!

If you havnt guessed it from the picture, this is running in OE2. Which is a beast of a engine with a free version. Worth the look if you enjoy programming!
