Is there any world editor for 3drad exist that can scatter the trees on terrain. I dont want imposters to be used to create trees because if imposter is used then it will fill the terrain with trees. I dont want to fill all the terrain with trees but only some smaller parts. Do any one have created world editor except fernando (he has already created one)

Imposters are probably the best way to place trees besides putting the trees in place in an editor and exporting it (only good if it's not too many)
It is possible to control where imposters are placed.
Also I believe somewhere on the forum someone made an imposter plotter tool or something like that.

Genetransfer's tool and video were deleted. Threr is Rush3Fun's tool yet.

for my forest in my fps game, i just use a script, and a skinmesh, with trees and ground, and a large rigidbody (1km plane) which is also unlimited. is that what you want?

Another way is to go with fps cam (or drive) over your Terrain and record the path-object with coordinates.
After this you can copy (or save) this coordinates to a imposter-script.
