Hello all!
Screenies for ROTU 3, the biggest update yet!: Rotu 3 is put on hold sorry guys! Im still deciding its fate


Next version peek: FOREST. Trailer Coming Soon. (Forest will be for single player, and there will be a menu select for mutiplayer house, or single player.)

I was looking forward to this.

There is a lot to be done.

First thing I noticed, the loading screen should have a little higher resolution. And the loading screen said 'rise of the zombies', your topic says 'rise of the undead'. Undead sounds better.  ;)
Second thing I noticed, both the player and the zombies walk way to fast. You simple fly over the terrain.
Also, when the zombies attack, they don't really 'attack'. They don't punch or anything, though I did make that animation for that zombie. And besides this, the player dies way to quick. You're dead in half a second. And the health goes down constantly, instead of for example once a second.
Another thing, the animation of the gun are nice of course, but they don't always start and stop properly. Sometimes the shooting just keeps going. The shooting animation and the sounds don't go simultaneously.
The aiming system doesn't work properly. When you hold RMB, the sprite disappears, when you release it the sprite appears again and you aim down your sights. Witch doesn't work very well either, you don't see the two parts of the aiming system. (I can't explain this in English).

EDIT: Something else I noticed. There are two .3dr files in your projects map. I only saw one project in-game.

Another EDIT: Pressing F1 while playing when not dead causes the zombies to reset but not the player.

Hi guys, for one thing, yes i know there are a few bugs, like the aiming system, i need some help with the animations, but i started a post a while ago about iron sights, but i stopped it half way through because i found out that the gun i had had an animation set, of iron sights (which was extremely lucky). for the animations, im going to start another post for that, at the moment i am using switch, but it doesnt work very well, so im going to start a post called "FPS Help 2.1". i will make the resolution of the loading screen 1280x800, and i have made some better loading music. there are 2 projects in the projects folder, one is the compiled version that 3drad puts in there automatically, and one that i put there, it is the uncompiled version in case i loose the project, or someone wants to learn off it. for the health, the reason why is because im just using an EOC, and the counter goes down.

Ok, here is my plan, i need like a haunted mansion map, cause this will have several levels, so i need that, i have a factory map, and the rest of the maps, (6 levels in total)
please, come over to the post where you can post ideas, and help with the production of riseoftheundead 2.1

Okay, I tried the new version.

Here we go again:
First thing I noticed, you can't get back from the credits to the menu. [Enter] doesn't work.
I tried the game, and I didn't go far. The zombie killed me in one second. And I tried again. And I died again. You die way to easily.
The zombies shouldn't respawn immediately. It should take a few seconds for them to respawn. I simple couldn't get trough the little gates.
And the shooting animations gets stuck. When I press fire, it just keeps firing.

I do like the story mode though.

thanks roberto for your suggestions (do you mind me calling you roberto?) in the next version im going to have it so there will be a new menu system, animated background, so on, and will be in the same menu project, so only one project to load. i will make it so its not a portable app (well, i will make a portable app aswell for the people who want that), i can't figure out a different health system, i mean, i made it through the whole way through the game, but i will try and work something out, like lives or something. im not very good with respawning. it just resets, what i should do though, is change their respawn position, so its easier (how to get past the first zombie, use the posts to your advantage! lead the zombie round so its behind you!). i will make the cam thinner so you can in the next version. the animations, i cant do anything about that sorry :( . Thanks for the story though, if anyone can think of a different, better story that would be great!
