That's exactly one of the things i needed the most!

I'm in the very beginning of a project with 3DRAD, and I will certainly use one or more of these sky boxes in the project! I will insert credits, obviously, and post screenshots when I will have something done... ;)

I'm wondering if I installed it wrong? Whenever I try to load one of these I get a system crash.  Using Windows XP.

I have them in objects/skybox/data. Doesn't seem like it should matter where the folders are located though?

wow this topic is old

yes you have. they are objects of their own. put them in ...\objects\

Doesn't seem like it should matter where the folders are located though?
exact opposite. folder structure completely matters

Currently using 7.22

i obviously have this thing completely messed up now. would you mind detailing the proper file structure?

heres what i have.

objects\skybox:
folders- data, help, settings, other: object.dll, object_redist.dll, readme.txt

objects\skybox\data:
folders: EB_1 (through 5), index, MTS, skybox.sky, skybox_nx (and _ny _nz and px, py, pz)

objects|skybox\data\index:
EB_1 folder, EB, skybox and MTS Jpg files

Is something out of place?

I'm just about to the point of reinstall the whole thing.

I ended up corrupting 3DRAD somehow and had to reinstall it. Still can't get the ragdoll example to run because it requires Skybox 5 or something. If anyone can explain the proper way to install these files I would sure appreciate it. After a few attempts to get it right, I now have the file structure with stuff loaded 2 and 3 times everywhere so I'm having a time figuring out which end is up. Apparently it didn't extract into the sub folders correctly, which I'm assuming is my fault.

1. open installer
2. select location where 3d rad is installed (not including the ...\3D Rad\) example c:\3D Rad where installed, select c:\
3. extract

Currently using 7.22
