Author Topic: First track for game  (Read 1475 times)

« on: September 01, 2010, 05:15:18 AM »
Thought I'd share some screens of my first track.

This is my first time using 3d rad, and also blender for 3d models.

So far i've created the terrain, terraces, and started on the grandstand. Haven't added textures yet, as I don't know how too!

You miht want to add a sunlight object; it helps ease the confusion of position and depth by making shadows. Very useful.
Have a 3DRad problem? There's a topic for that.
(And if there's not, you can always make one.)

Thanks very much :) I've been fairly persistent the last few days :P
I admire some peoples work, with damage on cars and stuff xD I guess I'll get there one day xD

Got a few more screens, textured the stands now I've finally worked out how...

Might work on seats next, rather than leaving them as standing terraces, and also work on adding some trees (cactus) once i've made some in blender :)
