Author Topic: Shader "0009_emissive" not working? [Confirmed Bug][Fixed! Patch on page 1]  (Read 3199 times)

« on: September 24, 2009, 12:41:19 AM »
I always get a black surface on any SkinMesh I tag with the Emissive shader. What might I be doing wrong? Not attaching any files as I cannot get this to work at all.

Edit: Fernando uploaded a fixing patch on Page 2, linked here.

Also does the emissive shader work for default 3d models included to the 3drad (like the yellow fish)?

It could be a bug in the emissive shader code. I will try to setup a PC that shows the problem so I can examine it. Thanx for the great feedback everyone  :)

Please see attached zip file for a *possible* patch. Please make sure you select the emissive shader for the SkinMesh and that you are not using any poin light, fog or environment mapping.

To apply the patch, replace the file in the

.\3DRad_res\system\shaders\

folder on your HD with the one in the zip archive below.
