The patch will have to be created for all versions of the emissive shader (eg emissive with fog, emissive with one point light, emissive with two point lights, emissive with one point light AND fog, emissive with two point light AND fog AND envmapping, ... I think you get it  :P ) so it may take some time, but I'll do my best to finish by when the October 2009 release is out.
