Author Topic: .Obj sequence to a single animated .x  (Read 746 times)

« on: October 25, 2012, 08:14:03 AM »
Hi all,

Is there any free tool available for converting a sequence of .Obj files to a single animated .x file?

I want to try vertex manipulated 3D sequence in 3DRad.

Thanks in advance

3D Rad doesn't support vetrex animations.

But practically every 3D modeller can merge several animations to one file and then export it.

O, I'm aware of frame-by-frame animation.

I thought vertrex animations are something different than frame-by-frame animations. I though that it was an animations where all the individual vertices are animated, like bone-based animations.

back to the question, I guess you already have the obj sequence, so you only need to convert those .obj files to x... it can be done with any converter which has a batch exporting feature... the only one that comes to my mind is Okino Polytrans, maybe with Deep Exploration... anyway, none of them are free, so the best approach would be:

- googling a bit ;D
- export them manually
