Author Topic: My attempt at a new physics engine in 3DRad  (Read 883 times)

« on: June 26, 2012, 09:36:02 AM »
So, where else would I go other than 3DRad to run my programming experiments.  ;D

Anyway.. I've started out really simple an made a particle behavior - physics that are somewhat more advanced than pong, but not too much.

Who knows, maybe this will eventually grow into a real physics engine.. - maybe I'm about 1% there.  ;D

This is probably useless to everyone here, so I'm not sure why I'm posting it, but who knows.. someone might be trying to program lasers that reflect or something like that...  THEN it would be useful.

Thanks. I'm still trying to work around the problem of having multiple contact points. I might just have to make my own .x file reader that generates collision triangles - something way over my head at this point.. :)

Hi,
I wanted to try it but it crashes. Did you make it with 7.22 ? (I use 7.19).
