A couple of relay "n00bish" questions.
1. I have created some custom car models in Google sketch up (not designed for 3D rad but should work) how to get them into the game as a car not a skinmesh.
2. The model includes wheels is there any way to have custom wheel models in 3d rad.
3. istraffic like in a city with working traffic lights frequently spawned possible
4. Is there anyway to have a vehicle enterable and exitable with door animations?
5. are dynamic reflections and skybox avalible?

Complicated and very not recommended. The car object is for physics only, not for looks.

Yes. Export it as a SkinMesh.

Yes, but it would require a lot of scripting. You could try using N_iron's city traffic addon, search for it.

Yes, but it would require quite some scripting.

Yes, but I don't know how. You will have to call 'Shadmar' really loud.  ;D

I'm fine with it being  complicated but still how? I have seen other games made with 3d rad with custom car models.

That would a great contest so many people try creating them. If this project ever succeeds i could make a GTA using it.

i'd listen to Roberto's advice as far as converting a model over to a car object in 3DRAD...

i don't really think that it's  practical to attempt such an endeavor... use one of the existing cars and tweak it to fit your handling and performance requirements...

remember, the car object isn't normally seen by the player... like Roberto said, it's merely for the physics interaction... it's your mesh that the player will see...

Yeah, what Mike said.

Just to be clear, you'll need to create a SkinMesh for the car and link that to the car-object, like in the tutorial movie.
