after spending a few days trying to make and rig an animated mesh (for the training sessions a few of us are doing in another thread) in PaceMakeR and Fragmotion, i've come to the conclusion that its gonna take me a lil more time before i can come up with anything that even remotely comes close to even the worst stuff i've seen in game so far...
maybe a lot more time...
everything i tried looked like the Thing (remake) when it started animating... the vertices either weren't rigged to the right bone or joint or something... whatever the case, i'm gonna need a lot more time learning how to do this right...
anyways...
in the interim i've come up with a workaround... a solution to my problem... i'll just use the deafault andro character... use Jestermon's bone analyzer to find out where the bones are... build my own character pieces, and place em on Andros existing bone structure using 3DRAD...
non of the issues involved in doing it the right way should ever arise... and i should be able to come up with something that'll look good enough for 3DRAD...
hey... why didn't i think of this before
