Downloading to have a look now.

ya see... this is why i always ask for a screenshot...

those trees and the animals in the scene (as well as the scenery itself) are what made me download this demo to take a look...

if it were not for the screenshots and the video, i would've passed it by...

looking at it now...

I thought I already posted it. Turns out I didn't.

Looks good! But I unfortunately I run:

Trees and animals: 35-45
Only trees: 35-45
Only animals: 50-60
Nothing: 50-60

System: Intel dual core 2x2.93 Ati Radeon HD 5750.

Have you used a level of detail already?

Because I noticed I could barely see the third ring of trees. It's kinda a waste of performance.

Had a little play with the compiled and (although my fps got nowhere near yours ) it's a really enjoyable track.

Nicely done Leon.

I've always been tempted by Bob's track builder..... need to download the demo and have a proper play with it I think.

Thanks once again.  8)

Nice little project Leon.

Running the compiled project, i had 60fps at all times. But, as soon as i put the tree's on, my FPS dropped to 24. The game became really stuttery and unplayable :S

The animals were fine. I noticed the tree's had shadows, maybe this is causing the low performance?

Hi game looks great.

Looking at other post they mentioning frame rate drops so I investigated and your files. I see you useing bmp textures and your x file are not binary. if you converted these to dds images and binary files you will get better performance and small download files.

Hope this helps.
