I find that using imposters is faster. It takes a long time to load my level with grass, but generating the flowers takes less than a second.
Here are some now screenshots of my game. Will be working on a boat race game next.

Btw, I want to thank Weapon121 for creating the animations for the mouse and Loop for some brilliant code! Couldn't have done it without you guys  ;)

Here are some pics of the speedboat I am working on. Got some strange artefacts exporting (model is flipped and the chair and rotor have no texture).

Problem is, that these are commercial projects for a company. Perhaps I could share a short youtube video when the game is stable (hope it will be stable with august release of 3drad).

Could this topic be moved to the Show your work forum?

That looks really good. :) I can't wait to see a good water shader put in there.

Easy to use system water shaders should be doable when 6.49 is out.
However it can't be scriptless since you need to pass time for animation and focus for envmap.
But it can be a easy 2-3 line script linked to the skinmesh.
However water is hard to do, and what good water looks like is kind of subjective..
