Ok guys and gals, after 3+ months of trying to get Rad to "play" nicely in terms of high speed colisions, I've finally got a stable version of my game going. It is called Garage Pinball and the premise is very simple: You start off with one Machine and eventually fill up your garage with more machines as they become available. This base machine with menu will eventually be filled with a couple of extra cool features ( which will be top secret for now ) This machine will also be the simplest in terms of gameplay. I am planning atleast a minimum of two more which will include multiball and the likes. I am planning in selling the game for 2.99 (U.S.) which should be available from my site in a couple of days.New machines will be available soon and will cost accordingly. A demo is available so you guys can test it out This project will hopefully give Rad a little more attention from the crowd that thinks Rad cannot create "complete" games from a comercial standpoint. It isnt a "Williams" arcade, but im proud of what I have achieved with this
you can see a video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dEBOme0AMrs
For whatever reason the quality of the video on youtube looks a bit crud...Ive attached a couple of screens also
Some of you guys might recognize the music and part of the intro in the garage
You can download the demo here: http://www.thesplitpolygon.com/garagepinball

Ok, I have uploaded the demo to a temp site while I get my stuff ready. I had some issues with VPacker, so please let me know if you have installation problems
The demo is pretty much the same as the complete version except for : It has a 100,000 score limit cap and a maximum of 3 balls. It also doesnt include the top scores(it wont set any video options either, as it defaulted to run Fullscreen/windowed). Idealy to play the game fullspeed you should have atleast a dual core proc. or better and a non-integrated mid-level video card or better. The demo should run on systems with lower end specs, however the lowest system I was able to test on had a really crappy processor, but had a good videocard. My other lower end Laptop had a very good Dual Intel proc, but a very bad Integrated intel videocard...both systems ran close to full speed on fullscreen and windowed. In these two cases however, they each had a component that picked up the slack for the lower end side of the system. it will be good to see how it fairs on most of your systems, so your feedback is cruicial!! I have tested in both XP and Windows Vista 64 bit, but have tested only once on a windows 7 PC with poor results, anyones feedback with windows 7 will be greatly appreciated. Once I get enough feedback, then ill continue with the development/fixes if any and set a date for distribution Thx in advance for trying it!
P.S. Im also working on my website, you can see what I have so far at : www.thesplitpolygon.com, currently it is only Flash based, so please bare with me while I create an HTML version for you non-flashers!
