Author Topic: [SOLVED] v6.43 Linked Projects Fail  (Read 741 times)

« on: May 15, 2010, 07:42:31 AM »
When I run the compiled version of two linked projects (v6.43) via an EventOnInput and ExitFade in the first project, it loads fine on the first project, but the second project displays a black screen when loading (although the loading bar still appears), and throws back an '3D Rad Player has stopped responding' at the end.

I had no problem with v6.42, but since I have saved all my projects in v6.43, I can't roll back.

Any help is appreciated,

StarKiller53861

Edit: This was a problem with v6.43, upgrading fixed it.

Depends on your definition of crappy. It's an ATI Radeon HD 3200. Not the best on the market, but not half-bad either. And my old compiled projects from when I still had v6.42 work fine.

I have tried re-downloading v6.43 and reinstalling it, but no luck. It seems that my only options are to either rollback to v6.42 (I still have the installation) or to donate $5 and get the latest version.

Unfortunately, all my projects are saved with v6.43, so I can't really rollback to v6.42. I suppose I should just donate - what's $5 anyway - and get the latest version (v6.46, I think).

The problem I face now, however, is what'll happen if I do donate and have the same problem.

Of course, I could simply wait until v6.44 is made public...

Decisions, decisions, decisions...

If you check the development history: http://www.3drad.com/development_history.php
you'll see there was a known bug with multi-level projects which wasn't fixed until 6.44.

I have the same graphics card, and on 6.46 everything works fine.  I really know nothing about 6.43, though, because I switched from 6.41 to 6.45 :) (I wanted to skip 6.42 because it had known bugs)

just donate man... problem solved! ;)
and it shouldnt be a problem with your graphics card, either. I have a POS and everything runs fine. I had a bug similar to this that was fixed when I donated and got 6.44.
