Author Topic: a few random models  (Read 1198 times)

« on: April 16, 2010, 08:04:25 PM »
A few models i made with sketchup and meant to upload some time ago (some things got in the way)

Contains a skinmesh and a static rigidbody of the 3 objects in the picture

also, they aren't colored with sketchup colors. I made small color squares and used them so it's easy to customize the colors/textures if you need to (like make the barrel blue without editing in sketchup or another modeler)

I'll probably add more later

And thanks to Shadmar for RadImp's ability to make a package quickly.(it just misses the index for now)

You would have to model a sphere group rigidbody for that. All I did was the static rigidbody and skinmesh mainly for scenery use.

I can probably make dynamic versions later when I have time

Dart the sphere plugin for sketchup works for dynamic collision its just a pain in the ass to work with you constantly have to keep deleting the if there not white! And the size is so hard to control you know what forget everything i said USE GMAX its easier ;D
I'm never here and if I am I will try and say something...
Sorry tramkp888 I kind of forgot you back in July

you know you can double click the sphere to go in the group, right click, and click reverse faces, right?
also, i stopped using the sphere plugin cause it makes too high poly spheres
ctrl+move copies a sphere so the size is easy to control, along with my idea of using easy numbers like 1, 2, .25, .5
if a model is symmetrical, make the sphere group for one half, then copy and scale  the mirrored side by -1 (it reverses it)
