Indeed the crash is something that looks real. Hope I will learn the tricks on how to do such things. And hopefully I won't damage my car and my body panels in reality.

please.ky not difficult lay out for me demo. I create grandiose project.everything will be on the highest level.wait...
this is a really decent demo of how to implement collision based car damage... well done...
now, back to reality...
for those of you who are about to download and start their own racing projects with this, a few things to consider...
1 - this has been done a long time ago by a very competent 3DRAD developer... it worked great with a single vehicle... but when multiple vehicle were added, 3DRAD slowed down to a crawl...
originally, 4x4 Grinder included part damage... but in when added to a full game with 5 other cars, the performance issues made it impractical...
2 - the number of linkings will be daunting... every part that can be damaged, on every vehicle, will have to be linked to every part that can be damaged, on every other vehicle it may collide with... and also with the terrain...
just something to consider when planning your next GTA killer project...
