Author Topic: Problem in adding texture (Need Help)  (Read 953 times)

« on: November 04, 2009, 11:26:49 PM »
Hi everyone,

I am developing a simple car racing game using 3DRad. In this case I am making  3D models of cars using 'Blender' and import them to 3DRad as a skinmesh. I export the .x file from blender and copy it to the relevant folder (replacing the existing .x file). Up to this point everything is OK. But the problem is I can't set the texture to the model although I copy the relevant .bmp file to the same folder. I can see my model in 3DRad window, but the texture is not visible. I am following the tutorial in http://www.3drad.com/importing.php, but couldn't solve my problem.
I am using 'Blender' as my 3D modeling software...

I need some help to solve this problem.  :-[
Thank you....

the .x file must be a text file, open it and seek for the name of the texture or the material, there it should be, and then, if needed ... match the file (the bmp you are copying in the same folder) to the one in the .x file.

that's all I can think of  ???
