I think I understood everything, exept what the last Vector3 is (see attached image).

If anyone could explain what: "Vector3 = contact normal (absolute orientation, outward from body surface)." mean, it could save me some time  :P

Is it the equivalent of the "scan direction" (yellow Vector3 on the image) of the "contact point" (purple)?

In plain terms it means the direction vector of polygon at the contact point. Every polygon has a direction vector in world space, and this refers to that, for decal placement at the specific contact point.

Is this for decal placement like bullet holes?

Does someone have an example project of decal placement?
