If 3D Rad fails to start with an error message like

'The application failed to initialize properly (0xC15002)'

or if it simply crashes, please make sure that:

1. your system has DirectX 9.0c installed (some new PCs only have DirectX 10+). Please use the DirectX web installer, to update the DirectX runtimes in your system.

2. you also have the correct Visual C++ Runtimes.
