Author Topic: Skinmesh+Rigidbody Size  (Read 134 times)

« on: June 13, 2014, 12:01:02 AM »
Alright so I got a new canyon track terrain for my game from this forum. First I made a skinmesh and then a rigidbody for it. everything just works fine. But my problem is => I can't increase its size.
You all must know that skinmesh doesn't support collisions and rigidbody does. but you can't (I am not able to) increase the size of the rigid body bcoz To access the SCALING option you need to check the "Use bounding sphere as body option" but when I check that then my car goes far into infinity into the skybox I dunno where. It goes out of the game area. Please help. Thank You.

Im pretty sure you cant scale a rigidbody in 3d rad you would have to do this in an external modelling program

Blue Dragon, I can only advise anew to remake the model.Review in what editor you did track, you are obliged to change scale to models, but скин меш possible not to remake - simply change sizes beside skin mesh and all

It's a very simple answer. You can't scale static rigidbodies in the editor. You'll have to do all the scaling in your modeller.

For example SketchUp, if the dynamic bodies can be scaled and has no problems, but the  rigid have problems, Greetings - TheHades24

No, I'm one of those weirdos who make the stuff they need...  ::)

Try fragMOTION (poor modeller and animator, but good for viewing/scaling/cleaning models; free trial), Blender (free, right?), or 3ds Max (free for students). With any of these modellers you should be able to open and scale the model.
