Author Topic: Increase productivity by objects PCar or Car  (Read 267 times)

« on: May 26, 2014, 11:10:07 AM »
Hi!
I don't know, maybe I "invent a Bicycle", but nowhere on the forums have not seen what I write. 3D Rad incorporated the ability to create objects Car and PCar one object, that is, to them it is not necessary "latch" meshes wheels, chassis and glasses in the editor. For example, these cars are one object PCar, I just chose from a folder and placed on the map.

SkinMesh only for animation steering and hands. Reducing the number of objects in the scene is obtained in 3 - 6 times, which should increase performance.
If anyone is interested, I'll try to do my normal translation instructions in English.

the cars looks verrrrrry nice...

also, the integration of the graphics style works with existing
3DRAD scenery...

the rest of the translation is a lil confusing though... not clear about
the single pcar object thing...

are you planning to make a game with the models...

note: when you compile a project with my model "falconer" lost file falconer.ini, it must be manually moved to the folder PCar/data compiled project

thank you all for the reviews...but my post is not about models, my post is how to use PCar without SkinMesh... as a result, the number of objects is reduced in 3 - 6 times. Please download falconer.zip there it shows... (maybe I am wrong and know it all)
note: when you compile a project with my model "falconer" lost file falconer.ini, it must be manually moved to the folder PCar/data compiled project

all the pcars already have skinmeshes attached to them...
you just have the option to use the default one,
or not to use it and use your own skinmesh...

or do what you did and add an additional one...

some people prefer to hide the default skinmesh so they can use custom shaders
with their own meshes... for example, you'll find it difficult to apply a bumpmapping
shader to any of the default meshes...
