Hey guys this is my almost finished racing game.  It has a speedometer, mph, 3 opponents, laps, and place.  All I need is a health bar and A pause menu.  Thanks to power support, I have a new car that deforms every time you smash it.  Anyway edit as you like and give feedback.  (will post project and screen shots later).

Sorry the project is too big to post but I will give some screenshots.  Can anyone help me with a pause button?  Life bar?   ???

Sure. Do you just want artwork? I'd be happy to help  :)

Edit: Here's some health bar sprites. They should work with the SLIDE METER GAUGE project that Jestermon posted here: http://www.3drad.com/forum/index.php?topic=1620.0

They're based off something I'm using in my project atm, but they might suit your game more than mine.

Hope they're of use to you!  ;D

Hey, when you say 'pause button' do you mean you want some help scripting a pause function? or do you want something like this?:

Also, the .3dr file you posted doesn't contain any of your models, just the bare bones of your project. So I can't play it.

You should upload a compiled version on Mediafire or something so that we can play this  :)

Sorry i knew that was going to happen but when I try to upload a compiled project it is too big.

Great work! I think i know this terrain. Is it by the "flying dutchman" from the 3d warehouse and It is also used in ninenko kart 2 but it looks neat i think you should upload it on indie game sites like gamejolt. And i am also waiting for the pause button, good start :)

Thanks gamedeveloper0!  Also do you have a script for a pause button?

think about that request for a second...
why not just ask him for a script for ye ole MakeMyGameForMeButton...

you gotta at least put something into it... come on, think...  what does a pause function have to do...

To make the trees look better, separate them from the terrain mesh and use the vegetation shader. You could also texture the buildings on the side of the road as well.
