Author Topic: Particles inheriting parent inertia?!  (Read 510 times)

Hello. how to make particles do that just like the projectile object?

Simply linking a particle object to another object should do exactly that.

Are you trying to say that you want the particles to sort of move in the direction the parent object was moving in, after being spawned? instead of just staying in one place, or moving in a set direction?

Well if its for something like a car, you can most probably get this effect by pointing the emitter towards the front of the car and setting a particle speed to something like 10 or something, and then just putting the emitter radius to 1, this might solve it.

Play around with the min and max speed 30+ of the particles. Don't make more than 400 or you may crash
