i did make it!... it looks similar because i copied its geometry, i took the three views from them, i did make it, i used their paint... >:( it looks similar becuz i used their three view drawings... i asked them for their reference images, and their tips on making the fuselarge and their cut outs, thats how iknow how to make them...you can see from my window cut out in the old swiss one... i redo the fuse large to have like 60 segments from the usual 12 segments i used to have, then i used their images to trace the shape of an airbus a340, and then cut out the windows, mines not really as nice as them but i have used their imformation and such to do this model, i asked ampere(the model maker) for his ref images...i really did make it but then i just used their info... i also used their paint so now im going to make a swiss paint for it...

so, to the whole case: it is not your texture and you forgot tell us this, as usual. it can be putted perfect to the "new" airplane mesh coz it is copy of Ampers geometry
I dont understand, why you used their geometry (you mean mesh ???). if you you have three views from them, make your own model.

it would be good in your own personal work each time not confuse other people, what is or isnt your work. words like "it looks similar because i copied its geometry" or "also used their paint" are very dangerous, in your case.

some "modeler" sort think, if they took another party mesh, copy source vertices and make then new faces, or copy whole mesh and then make it just much devided or so on. to make more smoother mesh, is it different model. but it is not, infact.

don't be sorry for not telling us... if anything, it's the person who made the original model that's  the only one you owe anything to...

and i'm sorry... but i just don't believe you when you say you made the model...

if you did make a model like that, then you wouldn't be asking about how to make the window cutouts... you'd have sufficient skillz to be able to figure that out for yourself...

hey... do what you want... but you're not fooling anyone... and you're leaving yourself wide open...

i know how to make window cut outs! i askede it before i made it... if you dont believe me then fine... i dont really care about all this stuff! i can prove it to you how to make cutouts, the reason i cant do it beore is that i use the disc then extrude, to make the fuselarge, but i need a closed mesh, so i used the cylinder and then add tons of segments to make the fuselarge smooth... thats how i do it, if you still dont believe me then go to my 787 development topic and see my model progresses, i now know to to make airplane models easily, so now i can slowly do it quicker... >:( :o

thus the plane is not animated anyways, and i think i got sufficient skills in modellling, but no skill in animation, isnt that "wide open"? all i got from ampere(author of the model) is ref images(three view and his paint which is hi-res... i did the cutouts

the new exterior model is my work with ampere's help, ampere is the one that made the a340 in the picture posted by mike, so now im gonna redo everything again, make everything all by yself since i know enough stuff to make a detailed good plane... ;D

finished the plane already, im not posting pictures here since no one believes i made it, i might get a worse reputation, i dont copy, and i told you borek that i actually made it with help... it belongs to Elite studios. the plane has 56 something thousand polys so i wont add anymore details to it, such as doors and windows, if i would to that ill just go to my PC and do it...my laptop wont handle such complex and detailed mesh...again i said that i had some help from ampere the creator to the a340 model for flight gear... do you want me to repeat? okay...i said that i had some help from ampere the creator to the a340 model for flight gear...

now read it a million times to get it in your head so you would stop...
