Here is the envmap I used, it's only 1024x1024, used in both pics. (It has to be a cubemap, 6 sided)
Make sure your envmap is valid or rad will just use it's deafult 128x128.
unzip and place in the waterplane skinmesh folder, it should read about 24mb unpacked. 000_em.dds

thx Shad... that was the problem...

say, can you point me to where i can read what constitutes a valid env map for rad...

i had changed 000_em.bmp to a 4096x4096 in an attempt to get a sharp image... what was i doing wrong...

*** seems as if the 000_em needs to be a .dds file in order for it to work properly... i changed your emv map image to a .bmp, and it was back to being outta focus...

the env map image i had before was a .bmp  ::)

Sorry, Mike, but I had to giggle.
I imagined a highly reflective sub rising out of the water on a bright moonlit night, with the moon and sky reflected off the hull.

SHADMAR this is really amazing I didn't know about the HD reflections. Thank you very much. And also for the mirror. This now is really realistic reflection!!!
If we don't give up we can achieve the unthinkable!
