My Parts:
- Simple Music/sound loops
- Little Storys around it (someone need to translate to real english!)
- Skinmesh + Dyn. RB
- calling a Pizza... 8)
My contribution
- Listening to the music
- Reading the story
- Admiring the artwork
- Eating the pizza

And any scripting that may be needed.. Once the project plan comes together, just place you orders (don't forget to order more pizza)

Think about it everyone loves a good full on shooter such as COD but everyone likes a racing game thats not to realisitic such as Splitsecond so combine the two what do you get. An awesome, destructive, Drive while mashing an opponent with machine guns game. People have made games like this but no one hits the full customisation on the dot like selecting Car class ( Race, Truck or Muscle ) Then car colour, Weapons ( Explosive, Rapid-Fire or Deffensive ) and then in-game Ai ( 8+ ) opponents, this would be hard but still effective.

mine:
- changing the music to 'some harder'
- avoid the story... just kill zombies... the people needs blood, guys... there's no time to follow a story when you are exploding the head of a zombie... or they will eat your brain... :P
- thinking on the race project... I hate FPS
- there's no pizzerias here, so I will cook!

So we are splitting up into 3 groups then?

Who's going to lead the other two? (assuming Daniel is leading the fps project)

My leadership skills aren't the greatest, and my time is limited, but since I'm really good working with cars, I could start a topic for the racing game.

Perhaps Logmyster could start a topic on the kite game?..

I could start off the kite/glider game, if you guys don't mind a coordinator in high school.  :-\
And yeah, I know I said I wouldn't get involved, but this idea intrigued me

I really need to finish my racing game so we could fiddle with it and make it even better. And a really good idea is if we had a "Team Projects" board to post all the resources and projects to it.  ;)

Go for it PsychoWeasel9, I get my best game ideas from teens anyway. young minds are brilliantly creative.

My skills are available to anyone and any team (for the promo projects only), if they need. I can't really add myself to a team, since (in all fairness) I do this stuff as a pro.

I am also willing to make my (low resource) FBF menu system available. I'll post a working sample of it soon.

Thanks Jestermon.  I'll just think about this overnight, and see what different plans we can take to make this group project a success instead of just a hassle for everyone, and also make it professional-and, of course, good- as well as fun.  The main question in my opinion is whether it will be a realistic sim style game or just something for fun; these two types of flight game appeal to completely different audiences, obviously.
I'll post the topic tomorrow morning, as soon as I have a sketchy game plan (no pun intended) in my head

Too realistic a simulator is fun to even fewer than those enjoying what usually passes for simulators, whereas arcade style, if taken too far, can get overly simplistic.  Something in the middle, I think.  That is the trick, to hit the golden balance.  :D
