Thanks! The cars look even better if you use the ENB series mod in game. ;)

Another feature that's been long requested, and is going to be added to Ninkeo Kart is the GP save feature! If you finish a track, the game will auto-save the GP progress when you advance to the next one. You can then leave the game, and then when you come back, you can click on the "Load GP Save" button and you'll be at the start of the track you're up to.

The car selection in Free-Play will be overhauled as well. You can see the cars in 3D and the stats for that car will appear when you click on it. If you right click on it, the colour will switch between the 2 schemes.

I have some advice for you guys today. When you're making anything with groups in it, and if you make 3D Rad link everything together (Shift-A), it will cause 3D Rad to throw up this error message:

I first saw this in v7.19 but it also occurs in the last version too. Be careful of that when you're making games.

I haven't seen this error before yet, but I have done the same thing without the error. ???
Interesting...
Also, you play Minecraft????? :o

The error only occurs if 2 or more groups are linked without getting merged together. (Either Ctrl-A and click or Shift-A and click)
Yes, I've been playing Minecraft since it was in 1.2.3 (2011/12).  :)

4 new tracks are going to be added to Ninkeo Kart. They are ones my mate gave me (I have no clue whether he made them or not) to use.

That means a whole new GP will be added into the game.

ETA for the v1.10 update is about a month, depending on school work and life situations. The update is practically a whole new game, and so it would be advisable to re-download it when it comes out (If you don't want to download all of it, go to the Ninkeo Kart website and visit the downloads section). For those guys who tested v1.00, it would be a good time to give it another go. :)

At this point in time, I've decided to freeze development on this game (BOTH 1 and 2) because of other commitments I need to take care of first. The time opportunities to work on this are getting way too small (5 minutes) to be able to get anything decent done. I'm also considering whether I should have a Unity OR CryEngine 3 port as well as this 3D Rad one.

I've finally organised some time to work on this game this weekend. It will only be on the new game (and it will have to be re-done because I lost the project files...) and so you'll see some new NK-II footage some time in the future.

I've also been messing with the examples and got a difficulty system set up! So now you can set the AI challenge level from Easy, Normal and Hard.

Can I suggest to use dropbox to backup your files?
Its frer and can run on your dedktop too.. so you can back it up really easily and if it deletes from your pc it is still on the website..

I would use something like that but my only internet source is 3G / cellular (uploads take forever, about 2 hours for a 60mb file) and it would have taken around 5 days to do it. Doing stuff like that uses up data really fast anyway.  :-\

I have 2  3tb portable hard drives I always copy stuff over..
One I keep as backup and keep it locked in my draw in a different room.. the other I take with me anywhere I go.

Both have exactly the same stuff on.
I have llst so much data before I am used to doing this now.

So that is an alternative to internet backup..

I was pretty sure I made a copy somewhere in my 2nd hard drive, but I couldn't find it. The backup drive turned up nothing as well.  :-\

Here's a screenshot from NK-II on high video settings. The red >> means that the turbo pickup is active and usable.
