I had a bunch of fun fiddling 'round with this, though it was getting pretty laggy (no optimization, no skill, no brains, take yer pick  ;)) so, I'm calling it done here...

This mostly works, though I did want the particles to change strength with damage, it wasn't working (probably a good thing... see parenthesis above) most likely I just needed to specifically assign p back to the OUT_#, though I imagine the lag would go through the roof at that point! There is one other problem I discovered... I think if the same ball hits the same car multiple times very fast the EOC will shut the ai down (the script is supposed to start it back up, don't ask why I did it this way... my name should give it away)

included is the 3dr file and the rigid body and skinmesh for a house I made (my first in sketchup actually) and yeah I know I don't need the textures on the RB, but again I'm a slacker... You will have to stick them in the proper folders (I don't think I know how to zip it or rar it that way...  :-[)

I think I did save the skp file too, but you'll have to request that.

Anyway enough of a ramble for such a stupid simple game(?) I hope someone can enjoy it.

Thanks in advance for any help

just as a quick tip on sketchup, to quickly remove all the textures from the RB before export (this will mean less for Rad to load) select all (CTRL-a) open the texture window select the blank (square with white/blue shading diagonally across it) and click the model...all textures disappear. Then open the model info window and click 'purge unused', this removes the unused textures from the file. Then export.
Every little you can remove helps with the lag.

Also any chance of putting up a compiled version, I, as a few others, don't like to put more into our already bulging rad folders. :D

Yeah, like I said, it was my first model in sketchup and I just wanted a building that worked, I thought (wrongly) that the plugin would remove the textures from the rb, and when it didn't I wasn't totally happy with this house anyway, so I never bothered to go back and fix that....

As far as compiling this, not sure that its all that useful as a compiled project, and honestly the only thing taken from outside of 3drad is that garagehouse, the game don't even need it, I just stuck it in as a blocker for the charging zombie cars, so replace the garagehouse with the standard rb rock thingy, make it house sized and basically the same result! Enjoy the five minutes you'll play with this, and hopefully my next one will be a bit better.
Thanks in advance for any help

Well, I seem to have been wrong again (what's new), assigning OUT_#=p(i) (i know brackets but that just made italics see the first post... LOL!!!) doesn't seem to have the desired effect... I was looking for a way to just increase the frequency of the particle emitters to sort of use as a guide for the zombies hit points... when I check the value stored in p(i) for the OUTs of the particle objects, its a very large number, which has me baffled...
Thanks in advance for any help

Dang it! Hope I get the ability to post without havin to wait, and to edit my previous posts as well, 'cause I keep asking questions that I end up answering for myself (after taking a break and trying to think of new ways to come at the problem).

Again the error was all me, copy and paste only works if you change ALL of the variables... sigh..

Anyway, I know I said I was done, but once I saw that it had been pinned, I can't imagine why... perhaps to show that brute force rather than knowledge can solve problems? hehe

So, I made a few small changes, got the particles to work and stopped the ai from stopping before the zombie is toasted... (hit 10 times in case you couldn't guess) and removed the hit points for car1 from the score line...and added some comments and an exit fade when all the zombies are dead...

So now I hope I'm done with this, I have to say I enjoyed this IMMENSELY, I recommend everyone do it!
Thanks in advance for any help

Well, at least I got to feel special for a day! haha!

Must be 50 posts before I get the go-ahead.. I'd like to replace the original 3dr in the first post, as the second one is a bit better.
Thanks in advance for any help

Sure, a pic... hmm, its basically the same thing that Rush3Fan had in another thread, he called his Zombie Carz, I hijacked that project and sort of made it my own (but still his og file)

It certainly isn't very impressive, as it was just me foolin around for a couple of days...
Thanks in advance for any help
