You would be suprised but some car manufacturers actually pay the game maker to use their models for publicity instead of the game maker paying for the use.

Yeah, I had the same thought, but I don't see any point in writing to the manufacturers before I have a finished (or at least halfway done) game to show, so they can see what they're agreeing to

iv done it, im getting some radio clips for the games, so u can change station, and so far, from recording off the internet, i have got a day of fire fm, heart fm, and jack fm, and wave 105. all but heart fm are happy for me to use their recordings to sell or give for free, as long as i dont claim them as being made by me and give them a mention in the credits.
