yeah, agree... thanks!

if allows the Wings3D / the .x exporter to change the main mesh material color, you can try export it "color toned". the showroom use simple 3drad shaders with environment map or without, actually... uv-map, texturing is not needed  ;)

that's what i normally do with them is just color the bodies with no texture, but I'm thinking of UV mapping the headlights and tail lights in along with various seams.  Also apparently the exporter reversed the car.

Here we go... as promised!  ;D

P.S just thought i'd mention the showroom flickers a lot. Dunno if anyone else gets this problem.

Looks pretty good
doesn't flicker on my laptop

Small progress update. The light colors don't show edges very well apparently, needs like a lightmap on the car or something. Also, apparently I needed to raise it up a little, kinda sinking in the ground

other than that, looks pretty good. (haven't UV mapped it yet, just painted some polygons for headlights and tail lights)

me! ;D ... but all the five or six pre-release testers said, they see no flickering, so I released it public  :P

@Dart: two red stripes, and its "GT" class, the car  :D

I get the flickering too.
nice one dart, looks good, you inspired me into a bit of oldskool brit motoring with the swoopy arches. Got everything modelled just need a non mobile connection to upload, your showroom makes it look smooth and shiny borek. Might invest a couple of quid on hotel broadband and upload before the end of the week, otherwise its the weekend
