thanks for nice tip, superb video link, Heat Advisory
actually, some posts back, not sure now, if right there at F1LR thread, I wrote I have a few favorite tracks. my loved are old Le Mans circuit, Nurburgring, Spa, Monza... my primary tracks, each time, when new race game or mod / add-on comes
to the F1LR game: making such track like (old) Monza is, isnt hard, including some typical trackside objects, this all is OK. but keeping the optimal 3drad game performance is really brutal dirty job. actualy it can all looks "photoreal", "superdetailed", or, at least, similar to another good looking race game engines, but then it will not run smoothly; it will not run slowly; it burns your cpu / gpu. playable with latest NASA or secret military computers maybe.
current F1LR status is: the "Nurburgring like track" was under development. all was fine, until this process was interrupted, coz of the public demo 1.2b, which was very slow on some, relative strong, machines. so I started some new performance tests and they was... errr... satisfying. satisfying for a arcade low detailed game. only
