Author Topic: 3DRAD City Traffic addon Preview  (Read 4870 times)

« on: October 04, 2011, 09:03:22 PM »
Hi everyone I have just finished the City Traffic addon and here is a compiled preview to enjoy.

All of the asset is available in this installation. Most of it is modified Google Sketchup so I don't intend selling that.

When I have finished the addon install package I will be asking $10 per-install this can be made through Pay Pal PM me if your interested and I will give you my email.

Now some might ask what I am selling, well its the time I have spent in the last 18+ months developing the whole system.

This addon includes a large city, 13 vehicles, 9 sets of traffic lights and highway. All components are customizable and can be added or remover without much knowledge of scripting. Comes with path editor, cars and trucks, city, merg. files of lights and cars and instruction pdf.

$10 sounds entirely reasonable considering the time that this will save anyone who needs a city traffic scene in their project...

nice work...

Fully agree,

I'll be coming to city's for a future game - and you can be sure this will be the first thing I look for.

Hi everyone sorry for the delay but been busy.

Thanks for the support. 24 downloads thats great.

Like I said above the asset is free you may have already downloaded it but the Addon will cost.

Another thing I forgot to mention was there are 4 cameras controlled by F1 to F4 and Return resets the player car.

It looks pretty good, but I don't run it smoothly with a dual core 2x2.93 ATI Radeon HD 5750.
And there were a lot of bugs. Mostly in the environment. The Highway pieces were not attached correctly, you know about the snap function right?

I wasn't even falling. I was just driving under the city. I somehow fell through the ground.

But besides this, it's quite a handy addon!

when you get in a place like that just hit Return and it will reset the player car.

This an addon and isn't designed for game release all those details like resetting the car when driver crash in to the river will be up to the game designer if it gets used in a real game.

Hi Liam If the above file link is what you are referring then that is a Demo of the City Traffic and not the addon.

You must pay for the addon if you want a copy. More details here.

Oh, I forgot. If there is a free trial, then we can just copy the addon and any scripts in it. But have a free trial anyway! ;D
