1. When I set the new Cube1m dynRB as -1 (static) it is static, but the imposters of this are dynamic!  :-\ ??? (see attachmend)
I made a 1m Cube with Sketchup and exported as original static and then the imposters are also static.

2. The CharakterOBJ can't walk on top of RBimpos, the 'Terrain Rigidbody' relationship from Master-RB is ignored at the impo.

Can we have a quick patch?

Thanx 3DSimulant !

Something else to look into and fix before the May 2011 update!

The RigidBody imposter system is among the most complex in the 3D Rad engine, I doubt a fix for this bug and the others will be found quick enough for a quick patch. It is also very likely that a fix will require changes to multiple modules, which would make a quick patch impossible.

I will do my best to have everything fixed by when the May 2011 update is out though!

A possible workaround for the problem you reported is using extremely high masses for your dynamic rigidbodies (something like 2,000,000,000 kilos). In most situation the RBs will behave just like static RBs.

I can't resist and made a video of Andros Moonwalk  :-X

Andros Animseq slowed down when he's walking sliding on imposters  :P

The behavior kndly reported in the thread turned out to be by design. What happens is that the Character object needs to know when a contact between its RigidBody ball and the imposter has happened, in order to walk on it properly. Contact reporting isn't implemented yet, but it will when

is implemented. Which should also fix this bug or at least allow for an easy fix.

Hi Fernando, the feature you mentioned is fully funded so, will you have an eye on this 'walk on RB-Imposter' bug please?
Maybe the bug happened not only with Character but with Cam1stPerson Object also?! (can't try yet on Mac)

September is very close and I'm afraid I will not have the time to look into this before the release. But will do my best in my spare time after that!
