.avi files also support sound, which, by definition, sprites do not.  So this would probably not be possible, sorry.  But please note that it is possible to create FBF sprite animations from .avi files and vice-versa, which you can then import to 3dRAD.  Then sync a soundeffect object, and you're done :)

just export the movie as a sequence of pictures. Look in the docs for file-extension and how to nuber the sprites. Then it should play a movie.
