If you like to make ragdolls like me, then you probably want to know how to make one that is as life-like as possible. So, here are some tips on how to get the best performance out of your ragdoll.

1. It's all about the realism!!! Urealistic ragdolls mean crappy games! Make sure you set the joint limits close to that of an average human being's flexibility! This can be a pain in the butt, so be patient and dont give up!  ;)

2. NEVER COLLIDE TWO SEPARATE RIGIDBODIES THAT ARE BEING SHARED BY THE SAME JOINT! This will cause the ragdoll to "spazz out" and sometimes, crash your game.

3. A good ragdoll has joints that allow SOME (NOT ALOT) of deformation on impact. To do this, you should use joints that don't have much strength or hardness to their stops. This allows the ragdoll's joints to be "spongy" and realistic. IMPORTANT: if you have joints that are too spongy, and your ragdoll takes a large amount of force, it can spazz and glitch out, often crashing your game.

4. A boring ragdoll is.....BORING! You can add clothes and skin to the ragdoll by adding skinmeshes to the rigidbodies. That will make him more realistic.

I've made ragdoll animation with behavior in Endorphin, exported it into fragmotion,
then to 3D Rad,

Check it out on my youtube channel:3DRadTutorials  :)
