Very impressive! Beautiful modeling. Komodo seems very easy to drive. A real Supercar, with Supercar capabilities, superbrakes and jump!

Thanks!
I'm thinking of doing the rocket part next...
We need something better than particles because the ones we have now ball-up or can't keep up with the vehicle due to high velocity..
I'm thinking we need to animate a flame texture, and project it onto a simple mesh... anyone up for doing that?
Maybe Shadmar could get some heat waves working with the post processes effects? (for heat waves coming off of the rocket engine and flames) - also might look nice in desert military base scenery..

very good, Rush... and fine modeling
you can open/close the camera angle relatively to the speed... that's a nice effect at high speed, apart from speed blur that maybe you can do with post-processing shaders....
here you have some documentation... XD

Sorry for the delay Rush, too much going on. Did the wheels work for you?
Yea, I was wondering if you could convert the wheel again accept this time include the disk brake, but not the the caliper..
Almost done...
Ive been working on the hud as well as the engine.
Shadmar's heat haze post process shader seems to blend very well with the flames.
Oh, also I added damage levels to the front spoiler.

And also, a little question if anyone knows..
Is it possible to mask off a sprite with another sprite?
The reason I'm asking this is because I want to fade out the edges of the two value bars.

I've made the same question two years ago... and the response was NO... but it was in the pre-shader age, maybe now is possible... I'm interested on that too... just call to some shader godness...
I think you can use a monochrome sprite and use it as mask with "rendering mode" over your sprite. You can also use a mask color. Is this what you need?
that race car engine looks really hot... nice modelling job there...
can i steal that jet engine from you...

Also, let me know when you have it downloaded so I can take it back down.
For everyone else stealing it, you also need to give me credit.
Just for some news on Komodo, the car is completely finished.. at least I think. I'm going to whip up a quick test level to demonstrate the car mechanics.. and later possibly a Youtube video
that's mighty generous of you Rush...
i really just wanted to take a closer look at it first hand... the modelling is top shelf...
if i do use it though, definitely your name will be on the credits...
i've got it... thx...

Alright, the car is finished.
I'm currently uploading the video of it, but for now here are some screenshots.
