I guess you are useing the newest free version. That one needs physx to be intsalled and the mentioned dll to be copied to the 3drad folder. Don't use the 3drad physx 7 beta version, because it lacks a lot and is not stable. Wait untill the current stable physx version is out (that one also contains physx in the installer).

Have you got physx installed? ;D  That pretty much fixes it if you don't.

It's version 7 that i get that message with. Version 6.49 works but now my cars are all missing the wheels. Pisses me off :-[ cause it took me forever to get them tweeked like I wanted.

I went to the Nvidia website and downloaded the latest version of physx and it said the one i am already running is the most current version. I have updated my graphix card and re-downloaded rad and installed it again...still get the same message. If I look at the properties of my graphix card it says "No AEGIA Physx Processor installed".

Have you copied the physxcooking.dll into the 3DRad folder as Daniel mentioned before? In this version its not enough to install it, I think!?

But for 5$ and waiting a few minutes for the email you get the newest version with all trouble solved...

From 6.49 note here : http://www.3drad.com/development_history.php
Quote
# Note that now v7 also requires a PhysX .dll called PhysXCooking.dll. This is supposed to get installed along with all other driver files when you install the PhysX System Software (above). However I noticed that, at least in one case, it was installed to a wrong folder, which caused an error message when 3D Rad v7 was launched. I fixed the problem by manually copying the .dll to the main 3D Rad folder.

The latest rad version includes all this, completely pissoff-free and bullshitless.

Fernando, I have a question: are the free versions of 3drad versions including the patches? (not that this would solve this specific problem, that is caused because version 7 was in beta fase).

The current public version is always identical to the version that donors get 3 months in advance. However any patches are now mentioned and a link is provided on the release history page.

If you have the PhysX system software installed on you machine(if not then Google it and download/install it) just use the windows search feature to find it. Remember to change the search options to search through all the hidden/system files.
Once you find it you'll have to copy it into you main 3drad folder, and you should be set to go.

Hope this, helps. It's really all pretty mundane stuff, but good luck.

Scroll down to physxcooking.dll is missing.  Ignore the fact it is about Dragonage, as this fix works anyway.
