Nice work Jester,
I just set up a similar task for my year 8 class to re-create a Pacman-style game using car objects, AI objects and event on contacts and timers.
Once they are familiar with this we will move onto the second phase of the game where you chase the ghosts which will be fun!

I always get excited when I hear how computer games are used for education.. And to be using a marvelous engine like 3D Rad makes it all that more fun, because of its intuitive visual side. I love following the 5 game step in teaching game development (ping-pong, break-out, tetris, pucman, doom), since they embody levels of complexity very well. Keep us updated, it will be fun to follow progress :)

Here's Pucman packed into a single executable....No splash screen, but still the full game.
If anyone could please let me know if it runs under Windows 7 and Windows Vista, I would be very grateful.

Great to know the exe compressor runs on everything short of an Omnius Evermind Gobal *Ix Network ... Thanks again for your tests, this expands my market to Mac's too then.

well its got nothing to do with the .exe usually the terminal error is due to a missing d3dx9_27.dll download that and put it in your 3dradres and it works like a charm. I think I posted a zip with it.

I Posted a compressed exe of my Pucman game, with all the Rad stuff built in, and I needed to have it tested on different versions of Windows.. And was delighted to hear it runs on Macs too.

Huh???? Are you sure you have the correct thread? Or did you read the rest of the thread before posting ???

ok then let me rephrase this. d3dx9_27.dll doesent install with 3drad it is a direct X install and many computers don't have it! such as mac or outdated ones!

let me clarify that you can install Windows on a mac... the machine is a mac, but the OS still is windows..

3dRad for MacOS X is a dream for now...
