Have you tested the default shader 0002_pp_smooth_glossy + env ?

Or did you just want reflection on certain parts based on a alphamap ?
In that case I have a such a shader in the works for 6.49.

Can anybody explain how to make something like this?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Df_mV5lQ76I

I have read quite many tutorials, downloaded some shader library's, but still don't really understand) I don't need much trees, but if I will add each tree as an object I will have too many of them...

You can use the imposter object to generate your forest  ;)

Thank you) I tested it with a skinmesh and it worked ok.  :) However I couldn't find nice looking trees in Google Sketchup(don't want to make my own....), so is there a possibility to use imposter with an object(so not a skinmesh)? I tried to do the same what I did with a skinmesh with an object, but it didn't work... I saw some demos but didn't understand how to simply generate a forest with an object...

Could you upload Genes shader library to 3drad forum? Gene does not mind. He is working on his own game engine now. An those shaders are super helpfull.

Alright, well, thanks to my habbit of never deleting anything, I have found the original files on my 2TB backup drive.

Here are the original files for the Shader Library v2.7.1 Enjoy. 8)

Hello there!

I know I'm replying late, but I have a small question to ask yourself: I can not run the library.
How should the files be copied?  ::)

Thank you all for answering and excuse me, but I have little familiarity with this software even if I know at least the basics.

Are you familiar with merging folders?

Basically merging the 3DRad_res folder with your own will do it.

If you are using windows xp, I don't think it has the merge feature.. I'm not sure.

Anyway, just getting the files in their correct places is all you need to do.
